E-Mark is one of the leading E-Mail Marketing provider in The Netherlands. Their solutions are provided as SAAS offering to their customers. I was hired as interim Product Manager to jumpstart the development and customer advocacy on E-Mark’s new product offering. Translating the vision of the owner of the company and producing a working product that customers want to buy in a short timeframe was the project goal.

springwrQ provides a platform where people can find and share flexible workplaces. Not being able

to find an overview of places to work while being on the road was the frustration that brought myswlf and a co- founder to create springwrQ. I provide the product management role where he creates the product vision, strategy, user stories and heads up the development team. I also like to code prototype features to visualize new ideas and features. springwrQ is written in Ruby on Rails and JQuery.

Customer is a web development agency. They have been using traditional project management (waterfall) processes to manage their customer projects. For certain type of customers (innovative projects) they were running into issues where the traditional approach was not working and resulted in unhappy customers. I provided a Scrum introduction workshop to explain Scrum and took the role of Scrum master during the first sprints. The role of Scrum Master was transferred to one of the team members after 4 sprints.
